The Founder of Paragon Chess Academy

Qi Pang, an aspiring chess player and a National Master and a Member of the U.S Chess Team. He has been playing chess for 8 years; the game of chess will always play a role in my life. Back in 2019, he had the opportunity to represent the U.S Chess Team to compete in the World Cadet Chess Championship. He was invited again in 2021 and once more in 2023. 

He founded the Paragon Chess Academy in 2024 with the goal of helping players improve; and guiding them towards the right direction. In addition, he hosted public Chess classes in my local school to spread Chess as a culture and give students the opportunity to find their interest.

Assistant Coach/General Manager

Tyson is a National Master from Virgina, he has a peak USCF rating of 2307. He has been playing chess for more than 10 years, and has 3 years of coaching experience. He is also a 3-time Virginia State Champion.

He has played an important role in promotion and development of Paragon Chess Academy.
