The Founder of Paragon Chess Academy

He is currently ranked #6 in the country by the United States Chess Federation for 15-year-olds, and back in 2019, he had the opportunity to represent the U.S. chess team in the World Cadet Chess Championship in China. He was invited again in 2021, and once more in 2023, moreover, he was offered a $1500 scholarship to offset the cost of this event. He earned the National Master Title (NM) in December 2022. He am rated 2314 USCF, and 2209 FIDE.

Tyson is a National Master from Virgina, he has a peak USCF rating of 2307. He has been playing chess for more than 10 years, and has 3 years of coaching experience. He is also a 3-time Virginia State Champion.
